VICKSBURG, MS (WLBT) - While Governor Barbour signed the meth bill Thursday, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics agents were taking down yet another meth operation.
This time, three people in Vicksburg have been arrested for making meth.
34-year-old Kenneth Downs, Jr., 34-year-old Michael Woods, and 29-year-old Heather Williamson were all charged with manufacture of methamphetamine.
Downs, who is on probation for possession of precursors, also faces a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Agents seized a "shake and bake" lab, which is an assortment of meth precursors, as well as two rifles and a pistol.
The trio was transported to the Warren County Jail where they await bond hearings.
