Snow may turn to ice on roads

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - MDOT crews sanded the roads all day Friday to make it safe for folks driving around.

By the end of the day, the snow stopped, blue skies crept out and that thick blanket covering the ground started to melt.

With temperatures dipping in the 20's over night Hinds county officials say that snow could turn into ice.
