JACKSON, MS (WLBT) – With Valentine's Day weekend in full swing, for some Saturday was an evening of dinner and dancing that helped benefit local youth.
Henry Rhodes and the Band provided the romantic tunes with live music Saturday night at Piccadilly Restaurant in the Jackson Medical Mall.
It was the spot for couples during the second annual Sweetheart Concert.
The soulful sounds filled the air while sweethearts and even families feasted and mingled.
The restaurant offered an array of romantic meals and desserts for couples to share.
After the meal some planned to even take a spin on the dance floor.
Restaurant management said the romantic evening of live entertainment was just one way of giving back to the community.
"We're giving away roses and candy to all the ladies. We've got great food. We want people to think about Piccadilly. This is something different you know, you're getting a live band. You're getting good food for a low price, so we wanted people to come try us for a change," said Piccadilly assistant manager Keysha Burns.
A portion of the night's proceeds will be donate to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Jackson.
