Hazlehurst woman charged with bank fraud

HAZLEHURST, MS (WLBT) - A Hazlehurst woman is facing charges of bank fraud. 33 year-old Lindsay Welch was a book keeper at Copiah Bank. The Attorney General's office says she used her position to extend her line of credit by more than a quarter million dollars. She used that credit to buy four cars --among other purchases. If convicted she faces up to 30 years in prison.
