JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Mississippi tops another national list, only this time it is for something good, some may even call it holy.
For the second year, a gallup poll showed Mississippians go to church more often than people in other states.
Sixty three percent of the Magnolia State's residents attend services weekly or nearly every week. Alabama was second and Louisiana's regular churchgoing went up five-percent since last year, tying the state for third along with Utah and South Carolina.
Vermont had the lowest rate of regular churchgoers with only 23%.
