NAPLES, FL (NBC) - The grandmother of an escaped Florida convict was arrested and sent to jail on Monday.

Authorities said Regina Ralph helped her grandson when she should have been calling police.

Michael Rigby broke out of the Osceola County Jail on Friday.

Investigators said Ralph gave her grandson food, clothes and money before she called his father, Brian Rigby.

Brian Rigby was also accused of helping his son and was arrested on Sunday.

"The father gave his son a car and money. He was notified by the grandmother that the suspect had escaped and met him at the house and provided those materials for him," Osceola County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Twis Lizasuain said.

Investigators said Brian Rigby and Regina Ralph helped to put a known gang member back on the streets.

Michael Rigby was facing five counts of attempted murder while incarcerated.

Authorities believe he has left Florida.
