Posted: Updated:

GULFPORT, MS (AP) - A Kiln man has been sentenced to seven years and three months in federal prison after he pleaded guilty to having sexually explicit online chats with a minor.

Prosecutors said 64-year-old Aaron Brensike had chats and sent obscene photos over the Internet to someone he believed was a 14-year-old girl.

The person he was chatting with was actually someone helping the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Brensike pleaded guilty in October.

U.S. District Judge Louis Guirola on Wednesday sentenced Brenskie to the prison time plus three years of post-release supervision, and charged him a $12,500 fine.
