JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A downtown Jackson staple celebrates 25 years of success.
Hal and Mal's restaurant is throwing a birthday bash to remember tonight. The downtown hot spot will be even hotter tonight for the celebration a quarter century in the making.
In 1985, brothers Hal and Malcolm White transformed the old GM&O building into a quaint restaurant. Soon it became a capital city staple featuring delicious southern cuisine. Hal and Mal's vision was always to be a part of a growing and vibrant city of Jackson.
Tonight you can expect to find as many as 25 live bands including the Vamps, Bluz Boys, Buffalo Nickel and much more.
It kicked off at 5 p.m. tonight and the party won't stop until 2 a.m. It's only $5.00 to get in and celebrate Hal & Mal's history.
