JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A convicted felon with a long criminal rap sheet is under arrest again just days after making bond in Jackson.

Despite an extensive criminal record Recardeo Demon Harris' bond was set at only $10 thousand by Hinds County Circuit Court Judge Breland Hilburn. Harris bonded out February 25.

Just two days later Harris was back on the street allegedly committing crimes. This time he was busted at Northpark Mall by Ridgeland police for allegedly using a stolen credit card.

Sources tell WLBT the business had him on surveillance tape and recognized Harris when he returned to make purchases the next day.

He was convicted in July of 2006 on grand larceny charges in Rankin County.

Now Harris faces multiple charges including two counts of credit card fraud, two counts of ID theft, two counts of receiving stolen firearms and two counts of a felon in possession of a firearm according to Ridgeland detectives. Authorities said even more charges are pending.

This convicted felon remains behind bars in Ridgeland. He can't make his $300 thousand bond.

And his accused accomplice can't make that high bond either. Darian Mason, also a convicted felon, was with Harris. Mason faces a laundry list of felony charges including bribery according to Ridgeland lawmen.

Mason has a lengthy criminal history including a 1998 armed robbery conviction in Hinds County. Ridgeland detectives said the pair was committing auto burglaries and then using stolen credit cards.

And in the latest developments, the Hinds County District Attorney's office has revoked Harris' bond.

According to Assistant D.A. Lora Boggs, that means this convicted felon will remain behind bars until the conclusion of his trial March 23 on charges of receiving stolen goods.
