JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Valencia McFarland and Janairrika Bland each scored 21 points and Raymond beat New Albany 64-58 Friday night to win the Class 4A girls state championship.
McFarland, an Ole Miss signee, had six assists, five rebounds and six steals as the Rangers (30-1) won their fourth state title and knocked off the state's only unbeaten girls team.
The Bulldogs had won 32 straight this season before the loss.
New Albany trailed by as many as 16 points twice in the third quarter, but the Bulldogs made it a 4-point game when Paris Sanders hit a 3-pointer with 2 minutes left.
McFarland answered with a layup to dash the Bulldogs' hopes of a perfect season.
Jazmine Spears led New Albany with 18 points.
Kinshasa Bradley had 11 for Raymond, which won the 3A title last season.
