Stylist raises money for cancer patients

RIDGELAND, MS (WLBT)- A Ridgeland hair stylist is helping to raise money for cancer patients.

Leah Vincent, owner of Colorize Hair Studio hosted the Cut-A-Thon for a minimum donation of $30.00 each customers received a shampoo, cut and style.

Stylists from local Redken Salons as well as hair designers from Louisiana volunteered their time and talents.

A hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit Hope House Of Hospitality in Jackson. The Christian Ministry provides a place to stay and transportation at no cost for patients receiving treatment for cancer and other serious illnesses.
