JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A wreck involving spilled gravel closed a portion of Interstate 20 in Jackson Monday morning.
It happened around 10:00 near Gallatin Street. The Mississippi Department of Transportation says all three eastbound lanes of I-20 had to be shut down so crews could clean up the gravel.
Eastbound traffic was backed up past Ellis Avenue.
The area was cleared and the lanes reopened by 11:30 Monday morning.
