JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Drug raids in south Mississippi have netted an Amite County family and a Wilkinson County couple.
After a three month investigation, MBN officers arrested 46-year-old Gregory Leon Graves, 50-year- old Mona Graves and their son, 18-year-old John Graves of Liberty last Wednesday night.
Gregory Graves was charged with two counts of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm as well as resisting arrest; Mona Graves was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana; and John Graves was charged with possession of methamphetamine.
In neighboring Wilkinson County, officers arrested 42-year-old Daniel Wayne Huff, Sr. of Crosby and his live-in girlfriend, 35-year-old Fairy Danielle Johnston Nettles.
Huff was charged with conspiracy to possess methamphetamine and conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, while Nettles was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.
Officers seized a combined total of approximately seven grams of crystal methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $800 and a small quantity of marijuana. They also seized a total of 36 firearms, including sawed-off shotguns, assault rifles and pistols.
The Graves trio and Huff were transported to the Amite County Jail, while Nettles was transported to the Wilkinson County Jail.
All five were awaiting initial court appearances.
