JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - If you're trying to get your yard or garden in shape for spring the Mississippi Trademart was the place to be this weekend.

For three days professional landscapers and nurseries offered their expertise in using plants and accessories to transform the look of homes.

Seventy-five exhibitors participated in the annual Jackson Garden & Patio Show.

They presented the latest ideas in landscape architecture and garden design.

Participants also held seminars on everything from flower arrangement to general gardening.

"Each year we ask six area landscape companies to come in and design a 20'X 20' space and this year Madison Planning and Design Group from Madison came in and they were the winners of our competition this year," said Jackson Garden & Patio Show Chairman Ray Bailey.

This is the 13th year the event has been held.
