
JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Financially struggling school districts across Mississippi will receive the option of making teachers take unpaid days off during the next two school terms.
According to the final bill passed by the House and Senate Friday,districts could require up to three furlough days for 2010-2011 as well as 2011-2012.
Teachers would take the furloughs on non-academic days, or generally when they are in training.
