Brandon man indicted for exploiting vulnerable adult

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A Brandon man was indicted for exploiting a vulnerable adult.

Forty-one-year-old Johnny Ray Storey is accused of using the financial resources of a vulnerable adult that he is related to for his own profit or advantage.

Storey was arrested earlier this year by investigators with the attorney general's office for misdemeanor exploitation of a vulnerable adult involving the same victim.

Those charges are still pending.

The new charge is a felony.
