JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - After heavy morning rains Saturday, the skies cleared up quickly, just in time for the Easter Bunny to make his rounds.
First stop, The Salvation Army on Presto Lane in Northwest Jackson. Several egg hunts took place on the grounds, split up into age groups. Everyone is welcome to come out to this community Easter event each year. All of the fun is free of charge.
"We have the inflatables where they can jump, ride, Easter egg baskets and boxes they're getting, gifts, hot dogs, bible table, craft tent. Great day for the whole family," says Captain Ken Chapman, Salvation Army Director.
The Salvation Army Easter event included fun activities for all ages.
