Madison police investigate pedestrian accident

MADISON COUNTY, MS (WLBT)- Madison Police are investigating an accident involving a car and a pedestrian.

Authorities were called to the intersection of Highway 51 and Strawberry Hill Drive around 11 a.m. Saturday morning the pedestrian is identified as 46-year-old Kenneth David Green Jr. of Madison.

Green was treated at the scene and was transported to UMC.

Forty five year-old Jeffery Wayne Cox of Brandon was identified as the driver of the car. Cox was not injured.
