JPD investigates triple shooting

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Jackson Police crime scene investigators were at the site of a triple shooting in the 3700 block of Cromwell Street, off Ridgeway Street.

JPD Sergeant Brady Hightower says shots were fired outside. Two people were found injured on Cromwell Street another was discovered nearby on Emmett Avenue. The three were taken to a local hospital.

"Neighbors saying group of kids was outside playing basketball. A confrontation occurred. What that confrontation is exactly about we don't know at this time," said Hightower.

Right now the identity and conditions of these three individuals are unknown.
