
LORMAN, MS (WLBT)- State budget cuts to education may delay the process of finding a new president for Alcorn State University.
A spokesperson for the Mississippi Institute for Higher Learning says that a schedule has not been set for finding a new president.
Interim President Norris Edney says he will stay as long as needed.
Former president George Ross left in February to become president of central Michigan University.
