RIDGELAND, MS (WLBT) - New sex crime charges emerge against a self-described minister.
Theodore Satcher was charged with two counts of felony gratification of lust in Ridgeland. Satcher made his initial hearing Tuesday afternoon. The Flowood pizza store manager is under a $250 thousand bond.
Rankin County authorities have a hold on Satcher. The 39 year old faces three counts of gratification of lust with a minor, two counts of sexual battery and one count of statutory rape in Rankin County.
Authorities said Satcher would minister to families in motel rooms, allegedly using his faith to lure them there.
His wife avoided our camera as she left the courtroom. Satcher's next court hearing is set for April 20 in Ridgeland.
Authorities believe there may be other victims and are asking anyone with information to come forward. The investigation is on-going in both counties.
