Community college investigates rape allegations

DECATUR, MS (WLBT) - A high school student claims she was raped Monday while touring East Central Community College in Newton County.

The alleged incident happened in the football dorm on campus and involved several football players.

ECCC President Dr. Phil Sutphin tells WLBT campus police are investigating the allegations, but couldn't provide any further details.
