RIDGELAND, MS (WLBT) - Dozens of people kept the Mississippi Craft Center buzzing Thursday night. They all gathered for the third annual Expotential 2010.
The purpose of the event is to celebrate the artistic abilities of individuals with disabilities.
Several artists donated their work to benefit "LIFE." The organization strives to help people overcome their physical challenges and live independently.
"We're trying to get the word out to people that we want people with disabilities to be active participating members of the community then to come out here and look at some of this art work," said LIFE Executive Director Christy Dunaway.
The funds raised at the event will assist LIFE in providing wheelchair ramps and purchasing equipment for people with disabilities.
