Tougaloo Students Evacuate after Dorm Fire

Jackson fire officials rushed to the scene of an overnight dorm fire at one of the capital city's historically black colleges.

The fire happened around 12:40 Friday morning at a dormitory on the campus of Tougaloo College.

Officials say the fire started in a washroom in one of the dorms.

All students inside were evacuated.

Right now, there are no reports of any injuries.

Investigators are working to find the cause of the blaze.
