JACKSON, MS (WLBT) – The McCoy Federal Building in downtown Jackson is back open after being shut down for nearly a week.
The facility houses government agencies and is located on west Capitol Street.
Last Tuesday, a problem with an electrical breaker caused a power outage at the building.
The 31 agencies and between 700 to 800 employees who work there returned to work Monday.
The Internal Revenue Service and Social Security offices are the largest tenants in the building.
