One dead in late afternoon shooting

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - One person is dead and another hospitalized following a west Jackson shooting. It happened outside the Nappy Cuts barbershop on Dixon Road at Robinson Road, behind the old East Ford.

The victim was on the ground, the back window was shot out of an SUV near the body and bullet casings were all over the ground.

Police have no motive for the shooting, and no suspects.
