JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A Jackson public school teacher and his wife are in hot water, after being arrested for felony drug possession.

The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and Hinds County Sheriff's deputies served a warrant at their home at 259 Dona Street just before 2 p.m. Tuesday.

James Bowron, who is an art teacher at Wingfield High School, and his wife, 23-year-old Sarah Baggett, were arrested for possession of more than two pounds of marijuana.

Inside the home agents found several pipes, a bong and other paraphernalia. A two-year-old child was also removed from the home and put in the custody of the Department of Human Services.
