Unstable bridge forces Jackson road closures

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A portion of Cedars of Lebanon Road between Crepe Myrtle Drive and Manhattan Road is closed until further notice.

The closure is due to an unstable bridge structure in the area.

Officials with the City of Jackson said Wednesday the bridge will be replaced once the design work is complete.

Drivers who use this portion of the road will have to take a detour and should use caution in the area.
