Pearl police search for teen wanted in home invasion

PEARL, MS (WLBT) - Pearl police have arrested two suspects wanted in an April 7th home invasion in Pearl.

17-year-old Jerrod Cowards and 15-year-old Jamain Ferguson were charged with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit a felony and possession of burglary tools.

Cowards and Ferguson were cooperating with investigators Wednesday about their involvements in other area burglaries still under investigation.

Two other suspects including 15-year-old Jawayne Carter are still at large.

Metro-area authorities spent much of Tuesday and part of Wednesday searching for Carter.

Officials say he is considered armed and dangerous.
