JPS celebrates female role models - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Jackson Public Schools hosted its first ever conference for moms Thursday night.
The conference was aimed at celebrating mothers as lifesavers.
JPS mothers, grandmothers, aunts and any female role models were invited to Galloway Elementary School.
The evening included strategies for moms to help ensure their children's academic success in school.
There was also a health and beauty showcase.
Luvel Dairy was on hand with their national Great Gallon Milk Giveaway. Registrants were able to pick up a gallon of milk on their way out.
