Head on collision sends one to the hospital

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A head on collision sends one person to the hospital.

The incident occurred on Highway 80 near Ellis Avenue in Jackson.

A silver car and white pickup truck collided.

The unidentified driver of the car was transported to a local hospital. No word on the driver's condition.

Officers at the scene did not release the cause of the accident.
