VICKSBURG, MS (WLBT) - It's the time of year when downtown Vicksburg is celebrating all that's great in the Red Carpet City.
The second day of Riverfest got underway Saturday with food, arts and crafts and music luring visitors downtown.
Booths were set up offering unique handmade creations from wooden bowls and paintings to household items.
Bands played until festivities ended at 11.
You could find a lot beneath the Riverfest tents.
Along the way you can learn about adopting pets or purchase hand crafted jewelry.
"We foster out of our homes we don't have a shelter so the pets are seen through our web site so we try to get them out and let people actually see them, get them out in the public, raise some money for the rescue," said Leigh Connerly with Paws Rescue.
"I'm a jewelry designer. We have fresh water pearls with Sharafsky crystals. We also have different gems and stones, and they're all with sterling silver. Everything is hand crafted, created especially for everyone," said jewelry designer Angela Brown.
This is the 23rd year Riverfest has been held.
