NEW ORLEANS, LA (WLBT) - For the second time in a week, a metro area fugitive is found hiding out in the Big Easy.
Wednesday morning U.S. Marshals arrested Darrell Tillis in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Tillis was wanted for the April 11th shooting death of Michael Olowo-ake. The 28-year-old victim was shot during a scuffle in his truck at the Texaco gas station in the 5300 block of North State Street.
Authorities said Tillis was hiding out in a residence in New Orleans. He is being held in Louisiana until extradition proceedings are completed.
