Appliance rebate program begins Thursday - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
MISSISSIPPI (WLBT) - Mississippi retailers are getting ready for a surge in appliance sales.
Beginning Thursday at midnight, you can take advantage of the state's energy-efficient appliance rebate program.
It offers rebates from 50 to 750 dollars for the purchase of new energy-star-qualified appliances.
But customers won't get the rebate right away.
They must call to reserve a rebate and will have 14 days to mail in a receipt to claim it. The rebate will then be sent as a prepaid Visa card.
Rebates are good only for Mississippi residents who buy from Mississippi retailers.
