Scott County rape suspect turns himself in

SCOTT COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - The hunt for a man accused of raping and kidnapping a young mother is over Thursday.

23-year-old Darrian Wilson turned himself in to Scott County authorities overnight.

Wilson along with 17-year-old Devontae Hughes and 18-year-old Damion Pace are charged with capital rape, kidnapping, extortion and breaking and entering.

They are accused of abducting a woman and her infant son and holding them for ransom.

Authorities said the woman was also sexually assaulted.
