HOLMES COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - A family member says 70-year old Rev. Espy Brown died a different way from what was first thought in the April 24th tornado in Holmes County.
Originally, it was believed his truck had been rolled through a field by the twister and he was thrown out. His brother, Jim Brown, tells us that is not they way it happened. He said Rev. Brown was in his newer model double wide mobile home, with the truck parked just outside. The storm just exploded the trailer and blew his brother and the truck about a quarter of a mile out into a field.
Rev. Brown was not in the truck. He died near it.
