Oil giant sets up command center in Biloxi - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Supplies are rolling into a command center in Biloxi to help with the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico.
British Petroleum has set up the area on old Highway-67.
The Mississippi Barrier Islands are still under threat.
An estimated 42,000 gallons of oil a day is leaking into the gulf from the sunken drilling rig "Deepwater Horizon."
Staging areas are also being set up in Venice, Louisiana and Pensacola.
