JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A horrifying chapter in Jackson State University's history was remembered in a candlelight vigil Thursday night.
Roughly one hundred people attended to commemorate the event with song, prayer, a dramatic reading of the events from that night and finally a wreath laying ceremony.
It was held at Gibbs Green Plaza on the JSU campus and named for the victims of the shooting.
