Elderly Brookhaven woman stable after attack

An 85-year-old Brookhaven woman continues to recover in a Jackson hospital after being robbed and shot repeatedly. Brookhaven police tell us Eva Pullen was shot in her car at a local dollar store and left for dead. It happened April 24.

Twenty-one year old Quincy L. Walker and his 20-year-old brother David Walker of Brookhaven face charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault.

Police say the elderly woman had been shopping when the suspects approached her. According to Asst. Chief Nolan James, the pair allegedly stole Pullen's purse, then shot the elderly victim four times.
