JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The boots were made for walking and collecting money Tuesday night for the Mississippi Firefighters Memorial Burn Association.

Four dance teams worked to fill the boots with donations that will help support burn victims and their families. From the salsa to the west coast swing and ball room dancing the teams worked for weeks preparing for the competition.

Brett Farve, Jimmy Smith and Jerious Norwood donated items auctioned off by Brandon businessman Noel Daniels. The event was sponsored by Leadership Rankin and the Rankin Chamber of Commerce. More than $7 thousand was raised at the event.
