BRANDON, MS (WLBT) - It's the second night of the 24th annual Brandon Day festival and the place to be for country music fans.
"And I heard that old juke box a playin, a song about a truck driving man," sang Country music superstar Aaron Tippin.
Shiloh Park was packed for the performance of Tippin. He thrilled the crowd with his hit song "Truck Drivin Man".
Mississippi's own Crossin Dixon also took the stage Saturday night. The two day event included carnival rides, vendors, arts and crafts and children's activities. Raffles were also held during the event to benefit the Mississippi Firefighters Memorial which is raising funds for a no-cost housing facility for family members of patients at the Crossgates River Oaks Burn Center in Brandon.
Some wheel chair bound residents in the Capital City claim they are being forced to ride in the street while traveling areas that have no sidewalks.More >>
