BRAXTON, MS (WLBT) - A Braxton teen was granted the wish of a lifetime Monday - his very own business.
Jason McAdory has always wanted to have his own Yu-gi-oh card shop and today the Mississippi chapter of the Make-A-Wish foundation made that dream a reality.
Jason's Card Shop opened for business Tuesday afternoon on Highway 49 in Braxton.
The shop is lined with glass cases containing the trading cards, which were all donated by the cards' manufacturer, Konami Digital Entertainment.
After taking his first look around, Jason said the store was everything he ever wanted.
"Wonderful, just really excited for him. He's wanted a Yu-gi-oh card shop for a long, long time. He even made his own website when we were in New York when he was getting treatment," said Cathy McAdory, Jason's mother.
Jason has round cell sarcoma which is an extremely rare type of cancer.
He has undergone several experimental treatments as well as chemotherapy and radiation treatments to battle the aggressive disease.
