Mississippi still has funds available for rebates on new energy-efficient appliances.
So there's still time to purchase your appliances at great deals.
Officials say just over a $1 million is still available for rebates.
The state received $2.8 million for the rebates under the federal stimulus package.
So far, 57% of the money has been used toward energy-efficient appliances.
The rebate program is designed to spur economic activity and reduce energy consumption.
More than 13,000 appliances have been sold in the state since the program started last month.
The rebates are on a first-come, first-serve basis and range from $50 to $750, depending on the appliance.
