JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Four suspects charged in the shooting death of a man over a flat screen television pleaded guilty in Hinds County Circuit Court.
Marcus Edwards pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the 2008 death of 24-year-old Jermell Mobley.
Idris Hampton, Erica Brown and Kentrelo McDonald pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact to manslaughter.
Edwards was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
The others' sentences ranged from probation to five years in prison.
Police said Hampton arranged a meeting to purchase a flat screen TV from Mobley.
The suspects then allegedly shot Mobley and took the TV.
