Young upcoming rap artist celebrates 10th birthday - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A very young and upcoming rapper celebrated a birthday Saturday.
Hundreds packed Mardi Gras in downtown Jackson for the youngster's big party.
Alsyia Terry is known as "Noo Noo" turned 10-years-old Saturday. Children danced and feasted on cakes and pizza while helping the young artist celebrate her birthday. She has been entertaining and giving back to the community . She appeared on Midday Mississippi for recognizing star students at Brown, Raines and Wilkins Elementary School.
The 10-year-old also has a rap album.
"It has 10 songs on it. It's really kids friendly. I'm gonna have a song on there that talks about good education and staying in school, and it's just being positive. It's a positive album," Terry said.
"Noo Noo" makes A's and attends Gary Road Intermediate School.
