JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The Ole Miss Rebels will begin regional play this weekend in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Rebels are the #2 seed, behind the Virginia Cavaliers, who are the host team.
Other teams in the regional are Virginia Commonwealth and St. John's.
Ole Miss plays St. John's in the first round.
The Virginia Cavaliers are the #5 seed in the tournament. Arizona State is the top seed.
The SEC is one of three conferences to have 8 teams in regional tournaments.
