JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Voters head to the polls Tuesday to select candidates for Mississippi's congressional districts.
There is only one race in each of the four US House districts. None of the incumbents will be listed because they don't have primaries. Only their opposite party challengers are being chosen.
Republican primaries are being held in the 1st, 2nd and 4th districts, and a Democratic primary in the 3rd district.
Delbert Hosemann told us, "We have spent months training our election commissioners and poll workers for tomorrow. We've checked all of our machines. Everything is in place, everything is tested positive and so we're down to tomorrow morning. 7am we'll be open for business until 7 that night."
If needed, a runoff will be held June 22nd. The general election is November 2nd.
