Last day of class for JPS students

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - It's the day many students have been waiting for -- the last day of school.

Thousands of Jackson Public School students wrapped up classes Monday.

Although it's a holiday, students had to make up a day that was missed because of snow on February 12th.

Now, the kids can begin their much anticipated summer vacation.

Students report back to class August 12th.
