Tuesday evening storms knock out power in Hinds County

HINDS COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - More than two thousand homes were without power Tuesday night in Hinds County.

Joey Lee, a spokesman for Entergy, said the outages were storm related.

Lee said crews are still assessing the problem and trying to determine if power was knocked out by lightning, wind or both. Lee also said there is not an estimated time of when power will be restored but crews are working as quickly and as safely as possible.
