Crystal Springs man pleads guilty to child porn charges

CRYSTAL SPRINGS, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

CRYSTAL SPRINGS, MS (WLBT) - A dental technician pleads guilty Wednesday to eight counts of sexual exploitation of children involving the Internet.

Officials said all eight counts against 45-year-old Robert Morris of Crystal Springs involved visual images of minor children engaging in sexually-explicit conduct.

Authorities found numerous images of child porn on Morris's computer.  He also admitted he had chatted with others online about having sex with children, and he had knowingly received and traded pornographic images of them.

Further investigation led to the discovery that Morris had molested and photographed young teenage girls at his home on numerous occasions. 

Sentencing was set for August 18th.
